Fortuna has only one runner over the coming week in DUNDEEL’S GIRL who races Sunday at Waverley in the Maiden 1200m event (Race 2) – her first race as a 4yo. A slow maturing type who has required lots of patient handling, she had two starts as an Autumn 3yo for a 3rd and a 6th. A recent trial winner (3 horse field) at Avondale, her work has been very good. Drawn OK at Barrier 9 and with the benefit of a 3kg allowance from the in form stable apprentice Chelsea Burdan, she will go forward to race in behind the speed – track conditions will suit and she presents as a good place chance.
