Fortuna acquires the proven Melbourne stayer MILESTONE – will be aimed at “Cups” Racing in NZ

Acquired from the February Inglis Digital Sale, MILESTONE is a two win 6yo Gelding who excels at Staying trips – a winner in France over 2400m before being exported to Victoria, his recent form there has included a win at Moe over 2400m and a close up 2nd at Moonee Valley over 3000m

Lightly raced with just 24 career starts, MILESTONE travels to NZ 17th February and will have a four week paddock spell ahead of a preparation aimed at the NZ Cup at Riccaron in November and the Wellington Cup at Trentham in January 2023

This horse will be syndicated by Fortuna to its clients and the general public – Syndicate paperwork still being prepared but shares will be available down to 1% and we are taking expressions of interest  – $8,000 per 10% share, $4,000 per 5% shares, $2,000 per 2.5 share, $800 per 1% share all inclusive of GST, Fees,  Freight to NZ, Insurance and working capital

Ongoing costs start 1 April 2022 at $40 per month per each 1% share
