FORTUNA 5yo MANNY PACUIAO makes Singapore debut Friday 8th March

MANNY PACUIAO ( Pins-Georgiana), a one win horse in New Zealand, makes his Singapore debut at Kranji racecourse Friday 8th March. A big, long striding type with ability, “GEORGIE”, as he is nicknamed, has acclimatised well to his new environment in Singapore and connections are positive about his Singapore prospects. Owned by the Fortuna (No 11) Syndicate, MANNY PACUIAO will be riddden by Singapore’s top jockey, Joao Moreira on Friday night in a Class 4 event for prizemoney of S$55,000.

“I am pleased with Manny Pacuiao heading into his debut race in Singapore. We have the best jockey in Singapore to ride him for us which is a big plus. I think there will be quite a bit of early speed in the race, so I anticipate he will end up travelling about midfield through the early stages. Based on his trial form, so long as he handles the experience of night racing under the lights for the first time, which I think he will, then I think Manny can finish somewhere in the first 4 runners.”
