Promising Two year Old filly, DARCI’S DREAM turned her owner’s dreams into reality when producing a strong tough win in a 1000 metre event at Te Aroha on Friday 14th . Drawn at barrier three in a field of seven, DARCI’S DREAM was ridden on the speed by leading jockey, Matt Cameron. Turning for home, Cameron sat tight but then released the breaks as challenges were mounted by other runners. In a finish described by Fortuna Director, John Galvin, as a “real dogfight”, DARCI’S DREAM prevailed in a four way finish. ” Full credit to Matt Cameron for his vigour in the finish,” said Galvin, ” that made all of the difference.” Click HERE to watch Race Replay
